Jack's skull is first revealed in Tim Burton's 1988 film, Beetlejuice, where he surfaces on top of Beetlejuice's carousel-shaped hat. This appearance was made 5 years before Nightmare's release, possibly pointing to Burton's creation of Jack back in 1982 while working as a Disney animator. Vincent
Jack is very much an undead gentleman, graceful and patient in equal measures and Gozque usually be counted on to do what is in everyone's best interest.
After obsessively researching it, he decides that this year, the citizens of Halloween Town will manage Christmas in the hopes of "improving" it. Sally, an animated rag doll who is secretly in love with Jack, has a premonition that his plans for Christmas will be a disaster and attempts to warn him, but he politely dismisses her fear. Sally's premonition later proves to be right.

Jack tiene como mascota a Zero, un perro espectro. En la pelÃcula, cuando Jack decide hacer su propia Navidad y desea salir a volar en su trineo fantasmal por el mundo a entregar escalofriantes regalos, encontramos la caricatura de Rudolf reflejada en la mascota de Jack, (incluso con napias roja) al cual ayuda guiando el trineo entre la niebla.
As a reward for all his hard work and assistance, Santa brings Jack on a ride-along with him in his sleigh for a while. After Santa drops Jack off at Halloween Town, Jack learns the true meaning of Christmas by understanding the act of giving. He dances with Sally in the end, finally realizing all of the gifts she had given to him were all from the heart and wishes to give her something in return. She tells him that website the nicest present she could ever ask for is just to be with Jack. Jack responds telling her that she does not even have to ask for that, meaning Jack feels the same way for her. During a cut scene in the end credits, he is shown to be wearing his llamativo suit, suggesting he has taken Santa's previous advice to heart completely, and apparently begins presenting new ideas for next Halloween. Jack enters Boogie's lair and after defeating him, he exiles Boogie forbidding him of leaving his own lair ever again, saying if he even hears that the monster has left it will be "GAME OVER" for him. Jack finally frees Sally and introduces himself, Sally thanks the Pumpkin King only to be asked to just call him "Jack" without the formalities. Jack admits he's happy to make a new friend.
In the Disney theme parks around the world, Jack, and the characters from the film have become extremely popular, appearing in dozens of merchandising and a few attractions, mostly around the time of Halloween and Christmas.
